🎉 Brand New Version 2.0 Brand Management Dashboard

The brand management dashboard will welcome a major version 2.0 update on March 1, 2025. This update covers multiple aspects including UI design, interaction design, and system structure adjustments, with hundreds of improvements, both small optimizations and major changes.

Our goal is to build the brand management dashboard into a concise and easy-to-use configuration system that can support all product configurations under AutoX3. Therefore, this update will completely integrate data analysis related functions into the data statistics dashboard, and will no longer retain related functions in the brand management dashboard.

In addition, we have reorganized the system directory and structure, summarizing all service businesses into seven major processes: check-in, pre-service inspection, health check, explanation, pricing, work, and QA. The related business setting functions will also be classified according to their respective processes and neatly divided into corresponding business sections.

Now, let's sort out the new features of this update and compare the differences between the new and old versions!

Staff Permissions

🔹 Differences between new and old versions of the feature:

  1. In the old version of the brand management dashboard, staff permission management was relatively scattered. After this update, the "Permission Control" and "Page Permissions" in the old version: Staff > Staff Pool > Staff Details have been merged.
  2. The "Intelligent Hub Data View Permission" feature in the old version: Brand Settings > Shop Permissions has also been merged into staff permissions in the new version.

🔹 Feature updates and changes:

  1. The data view permission in the old version was configured by shop, and could not be set individually for specific staff. Therefore, once the permission was set, all staff in the shop could access the corresponding data. In the new version, the "Intelligent Hub Data View Permission" has been delegated to the staff level, allowing specific staff to be granted permission to view shop data in the Intelligent Hub, achieving more refined permission management.
tip

Now you can go to: New Brand Management Dashboard > Brand Management > Staff Management > Permission Control to control staff permissions.

Role Management

🔹 Differences between new and old versions of the feature:

In the old version of the brand management dashboard, the "Role Management" entry was relatively hidden, and could only be accessed when adding staff and selecting roles, making it inconvenient to operate. In the new version, "Role Management" has been optimized, extracted independently, and categorized together with staff management under the Brand Management menu, making role management more intuitive and efficient.

🔹 Feature updates and changes:

  1. Removed the "Role Number" feature from the old version's "Role Information", retaining only the most basic "Role Name".
  2. Added: Role permission control feature. This feature is the same as the "Shop Management Dashboard Page Access Permission" in staff permissions, and can be understood as a quick overall configuration of staff permissions. After setting up role permissions, when adding new staff, you only need to select the corresponding role to automatically inherit its permissions, achieving efficient management.
tip

Now you can go to: New Brand Management Dashboard > Brand Management > Role Management to manage role information and permissions.

Staff Management

🔹 Differences between new and old versions of the feature:

  1. In the old version, the "Accessible Shops" feature in staff details was essentially a permission management function, mainly used to control which shops staff could access in the Intelligent Technician app. To optimize management, the new version has moved this feature to Staff Details > Permission Control and renamed it to "Accessible Shops", making permission configuration clearer and more intuitive.
  2. Optimized the process of "adding staff and activating registration" to make operations more efficient and convenient. In the old version, adding new staff required first entering basic information and sending an invitation registration link, and staff had to complete registration by entering their mobile number and verification code through the browser before activating the account and logging in. In the new version, we have simplified this process. Administrators only need to enter the staff's basic information in the brand management dashboard, and staff can directly log in using their mobile number + default password, eliminating the cumbersome invitation registration step and greatly improving operational efficiency.

🔹 Feature updates and changes:

  1. Removed the "Salary Template" feature from the "Staff Basic Information" page.
  2. Removed the "Staff Reminder" feature, keeping it only in the shop management dashboard and Intelligent Technician app.
  3. Added the "Login Platform" field statistics in the "Login Record" feature.
  4. Added the "Reset Login Password" feature. This allows administrators to quickly recover when staff forget their password. Now, the brand management dashboard supports resetting a staff member's login password to 000000. After resetting, staff can log in using their mobile number and default password.
  5. Added the ability to bulk import staff via Excel.
  6. When creating new staff, added the "Confirm and create next" feature. This greatly improves the efficiency of continuously adding staff.
  7. Added filters for shop, staff status, and enabled status.
tip

Now you can go to: New Brand Management Dashboard > Brand Management > Staff Management to manage staff.

Brand Information Settings

🔹 Differences between new and old versions of the feature:

  1. In the old version, the Brand Information first-level menu contained many functions unrelated to brand settings. After this update, the Basic Information under Brand Settings in the old version has been moved to Brand Information under Brand Management in the new brand management dashboard.
  2. In the old version, the brand's media channel settings (setting brand official account, app download QR code, etc.) were placed in Brand Settings > Intelligent Hub Preference Settings. In the new version, we have moved the media channel settings to Brand Information under Brand Management in the new brand management dashboard. We believe that brand media channel settings should represent the entire brand and are not limited to the use of the Intelligent Hub app, so it was not reasonable to place them separately in the Intelligent Hub settings.

🔹 Feature updates and changes:

  1. Added the dark mode Logo upload feature. In AutoX3 terminal products, light mode and dark mode themes are usually provided for a softer, less glaring experience at night. However, regular brand logos may appear particularly abrupt in dark mode. To address this, this update supports uploading logos specially designed for dark mode. You can upload pure white logos or logos adapted by designers to better present the brand image (if no dark mode logo is uploaded, the system will automatically use the default logo).
